Simpo/Ted, is there any way we can start a collection to give a little help at this most terrible time? Else if theres anything else we can do as a collective group please let us know!
Hi Zippee, yes, there are plans afoot for a major PH attendance and collection. I'd ask everyone to be patient for a moment and watch this space. Thanks all.

The Eastern Daily Press carried a peice on Ian's suicide today no mention of Pistonheaders but it give some idea of the turmoil Ian ws facing at the time.
Such a waste of a really great guy.
Was looking over some old emails from Ian and he will be missed greatly.
Really sad....if only he had asked someone for help or advice
Yeah, I read it too and it seems such a small thing to take the action he did
the irony is his dad saying "I would have given him the money"......heartbreaking
Oh damn...that is just too sad for words. There must have been other things bothering him surely? £4700 is not an amount to take such action over. I hate reading how many people seem to be hounded to the brink of despair over debt. The fact his father would have helped just makes it even more tragic.
I wish I could rewind the clock a few days.
I met him a few times, he was a strong-footed fella, what the hell could have caused this?????
My condolences to the family. Just found out on Monday that another fellow PH'ers daughter recently tried to take her own life, this is never an easy thing for the ones who are close....
Very upsetting!
Rest in peace Ian!

Overall, having weighed up the good and bad, I`ve decided to stick two fingers up to 2005 as it didn`t live up to expectations but I have high expectations for 2006! Happy new year!!

I didnt know Ian, but reading this condolences thread and the amount of comments and words of comfort sent out by ph'ers to his family and friends says everything.
I know from a personal experience that when debt becomes a problem for whatever reason, that the banks will keep on hounding you no matter what and when that is said and done, your debt will be sold to a collection agency who are simply relentless.
If it would be possible to petition the actions taken by his creditors, I would definately sign it!!
This is such a sad loss of a good bloke and all because of a completely tactless approach by someone wanting money
My thoughts are with his family
Rest in peace brother
