What you need is a conveyor belt.......

Running from approximately waist height, up to just above the edge of the table.

You stand at the bottom, and load chicken portions onto said belt, belt transports them up to table. Hedge provides shield between you and Graffiti writers.

Hmmm, nice idea, but surely the aircrafts wheels would squash the chicken?

Indeed, you could also replace my idea of a remote controlled helicopter drop with a remote controlled plane.

You obviously have limited runway, and so could put the plant on the conveyor and crank up the speed until the plane takes off.

Then make a 'chicken bombing' pass over the table area.

At you all.
Re Conveyor belt: The reason for the height is to keep the table away from our cats. And as everyone knows cats LOVE conveyor belts and know how to operate them as sure as they know how to hunt.

Re Rhino. I spent the rest of the weekend trying to kill the two I've got out the back. Impossible. Have you felt how hard they are???

I think you should search eBay for a 'dumb waiter' from a hotel.... a simple pulley & rope system should suffice - the boys on here are over complicating things with remote control contraptions & conveyor belts as usual.

You're just annoyed because she shortend your entire rambling paragraph to the words 'dumb waiter'

Right, if that's how you feel I'm taking my bat and ball home
I was only trying to post in keeping with the rest of the thread

Oh dear - it's all gone tantrums and tiaras again.... I skimmed and missed it.

Don't worry Blindswelledrat does not really want to feed red kites..... I'm sure it's a thinly veiled attempt at generating interest from the opposite sex..... although he hasn't made a comment along the lines of "Plan flawed: I can't get hold of chicken wings cos I used to have a wife but I don't anymore and I don't know how to go shopping on my own" I think he's only moments away....

I hope that's not true. Not after I (and others) have spent a not inconsiderable amount of valuable time trying to help....

Ignore her. She's just jealous. It's an insecure woman thing.
We all know that feeding kites and the problems contained within take priority over women.
They just get bitter.
She is either my wife pretending to be someone else, or another woman with a husband who likes escalating foul.

I can't beleive we've got three pages into this thread without a "will you be choking your chicken before leaving it on the table for the bird to find" type post.

These dumb waiters sound spiffy, but even the staff at our local Pizzahut arent dumb enough to climb a 15ft hedge every day. Maybe you could get a dumbMaccyD's staffer? Are they on ebay?

Davi's idea about dowels and ropes sounds a good one. Not very exciting in the technology stakes though.
