Rage Against The Machine- "Wake Up" They don`t get much heavier than that. shout COME ON!

Gotta say "Know Your Enemy" beats that hands down my friend!!
Pick anything off the album at random, you can`t go wrong. thumbup

NO,no no,no,no...
You are all wrong......

Howa about.....
All very good songs but we're talking intro's here. Had the album on in the car yesterday and it's solid all the way through, but no really 'killer' intro's. Wake Up probably IS the best.

Afraid your wrong again...

Best RATM intro is "Renegades Of Funk" or is it "No Shelter"......

I really don't see what all the fuss is (and was) about Rage Against The Machine. I saw them and had their album but they just never did it for me. And Mordred were doing that kind of Metal/Rap/Punk stuff way before em and were much better at it

Well I guess you're on your own there, as they are near-universally rated as an extremely competent and influential band.

'Don't impress me either. 'Influential'...? Derivative.

Derivative.

Of?

Can't make a sweeping statement like that without qualifying it. And quite honestly, there are few bands that are TOTALLY original...music is largely an evolutionary art-form.

I'm not a fan either. Can't hear the 'brilliance'.

I'm sure someone here will know of them, but an obscure band called Ozric Tentacles who I saw years ago and bought their album (Pungent Effluent)released Disolution as a single it is one of the most mesmerising intros I have ever heard

Cliff, are you familiar with the film American Graffiti? Specifically the drag race near the end, featuring "Green Onions" thumbup Love the way it fades in.
