Lets hope he pulls through, sounds like he is awake from the report. Will this be the end of Top Gears powersliding and hooning around on their track? Or even the last series?? Hope not.

To make matters worse, I hope we don't have the PC slow-down Health & Safety Nazis calling for an end to Top Gear as a result of this accident. It's only a matter of time before they do. The PC environmental control freaks have been trying for years to have Top Gear cancelled.

Airlifted by helicopter to Leeds General Infirmary after crashing a jet powered car at 280mph at elvington airfield.

Car deployed chute and veered off runway rolling several times before landing upsuide down. Hammond cut from roll cage and concious but a bit incoherent as they strapped him onto a back board.

Top Gear were filming, so we can expect some piss taking if he pulls through.

GWS that hamster!

It doesn't suprise me that someone has got injured considering the dangerous and childish things they have been doing on the last few series.

I hope he pulls through ok.

Blimey, you sound like a road safety campaigner. Stop eating lentils ;-)
