I'm not one to drag up old topics but I was looking for the photos I'd taken of the dog and noticed the breed was never determined.

Anyway, we since learned it's a Utonagan:

The dog went on to become CEO of Sony Enterprise and has funded many dog rescue sancturies across the 3rd world.
