Ok, find a fabulous historic track and post the link here. (BTW - Youtube aim to have every music video ever made on-line within a year - it will be amazing if they get even a quarter...)

Feel free to use other sites too and to discuss/praise/condemn the choices of others!

I'll kick off with this fantastic track by The Associates - soaring vocals and brilliant lyrics from the sadly departed Billy McKenzie:

"Party Fears Two"

Superb choices!

Did you know that Take On Me was released twice before with no success, then Warners took Aha off the market for six months while that video was made (it is all hand drawn using a technique called rotoscoping) ....and the rest as they say is history....

The most awsomely produced track in music history (IMHO!)

The full length version of Two Tribes:

Turn the volume up!

I had the privilege of seeing them live first time around, then last year at the Trevor Horn concert - absolutely jaw dropping wall of sound stuff...

Great song, worthy of discussion on my 1000th post . Wasn't he shagging Morrissey for a time?

As I said on another thread, I am a huge fan of 80s "gay" music.

This gets cranked up in the car/truck when I`m having a crap time

I have seen Erasure in concert many times on every tour they did up to the mid-90's. Got all the records, including the limited editions, and was a huge fan!

Excellent!

How about:

OMG Towie - Howard Jones is my all time favourite artiste! No kidding!

Have you got his recent live albums, including awesome re-visited versions of his classics?

Simply brilliant!
