Vesper, should have been played by someone like Rosamund Pike, shame she was a villan and was killed in the last 1! Someone stronger, more well-known..I can't think of anyone at the moment.

I am ashamed to say I haven't read any of the James Bond books even though I am an avid fan of the series, my Dad has read all of them and picks the faults in the different films.

Like who is Mr White? Why did he play such a prominent role, when he wasn't really developed as a major character? My Dad had to explain to me that he was from SMERSH, which didn't seem to figure at all in Casino Royale, the film.
I believe Casino Royale is very true to the novel.

Some parts have been added to pack it out a bit. As a novel contains a lot of descriptive writing, the narrative would be over very quickly if they stayed 100% true to the book.

Also political climates change and the film must find an alternative setting than the cold war. In the novel, Le Chifre is skint because of new legislation in France which shut his chain of brothels which he had ripped off the unions to finance, obviously a modern alternative for this too hence playing the stock market with terrorists funds.

As for Mr. White, the next film is to rumoured to be be a sequel where bond goes after the money, hence the introduction.

Most of the other films are nothing like the novels though - Moonraker for example, was about a post-WW2 plan for Nazis to bomb London from England with the Moonraker missile.

Anyway, sorry to deviate from the important subject of 'fuzz-wham'! How about Plenty O'Toole (Lana Wood - google image search for norks out!), "Named after your father I presume?"

or Solange Dimitrios (Caterina Murino)

yes One of the best.

"Hi, I'm Plenty, Plenty O'Toole"

"But of course you are, named after your father perhaps?"

A classic quote!

Your all wrong. It's Eva Green from Casino Royale

There is something about her that I just don't like...maybe its her character?
Maybe its because she appears to over-act, when she is on the train, there is something wrong with her accent, its like she is trying too hard, then when she starts crying when Bond wakes up after the Le Chiffre episode.
She also looks dirty (not a bad thing in most cases) More unkempt than dirty. Because of her frackles, she also has to use a lot more makeup and that adds to the unkempt look.

Also, if you watch CR carefully, you may notice that gravity has not been kind to her...

PS: I'm just disappointed because the actress for Vesper didn't match my mental expectations after reading the book. Of course Craig was hardly Hoagy Carmichael either wink
I noticed this and was concerned that perhaps I was becoming unreasonably and excessively picky. Evidently not the case - I require an increased level of perkiness from a girl her age!

Halle Berry as Jinx in "Die Another Day"

Coming out of the water in that Bikini!!!!!!
nono I was afraid someone would say that. Halle Berry is munting, proper munting with that short hair. I detest the fact she was crowned 'the most beautiful woman 2005' or whatever. Keely from page 3 is infinitely more beautiful for instance. Apart from Halle I wouldn't say no to most of the other Bond girls they do get the blood flowing.
yikesare you gay? Halle Berry steps out of the water in that bikini walks up to you and wants a game of hide the sausage sperm and you are gonna say no because of her hair... bangheadhehe
No why you looking for a partner? smile

Seriously though she doesn't do it for me, she'd have to buy me 12 pints, then beg like never before & I'd still have to consider it scratchchin

Maria Grazia Cucinotta. She was "Cigar Girl" in The World Is Not Enough. Admitedly she wasn't in it for long, but long enough for it to count in my book smile

Roger Moore was once asked this question and he said 'A gentleman shouldn't have favourites..........Maud Adams'

Me, I'd have Sophie Marceau, Rosamind Pike, hell any of them....
