You are most likely going to say I'm too young to understand what I'm saying and lay on all this "I'm older therefore know more than you" crap on me. But i have been in love, and i basically shut out my friends for the whole period i was with her...... Isn't that what tattoos are about? Reminders and memories of good or bad things?
Seriously, we were all young once before. We all (well, maybe not all) thought we were the ultimate party animals, and that the 'oldies' were totally out of touch with life and had obviously never seen the sort of stuff that modern young people see and do. We all believed we were the first person who had experienced true love, and then the first to really experience broken hearts blah blah, that nobody else was in love like we were, that nobody else had felt like that, that the older guys at work had just led dumb and boring lives.Truth is, we were doing it 30 or more years ago, partying, living, loving, raising hell, and anything else young 'uns of today do. So we have see it all, been where you are now, and the overall opinion of 'we oldies' is don't have Bros before hoes' tattooed on your person.
I had my first tattoo when I was 16, a large traditional style peacock on my forearm, with all the flash tail feathers and stuff. Nobody else I knew had a tattoo like that, and nowhere near as big. They all had little postage stamp type things in the centre of each forearm, at most. But I had wanted that tattoo for several years. Now, 30+ years later, I still don't regret it and, er, and....
Damn, I've forgotten what I was trying to say......
Must be old age kicking in.
I'll go back to my Zimmer frame.

Johnny, looks like a great tattoo design...
I've got a small tatt on my right shoulder..I@ve spent the last 3 years thinking through a new design to complement it. I've finally got something I'm happy with an I'm booked in in a couple of weeks.
Tattoo's are such a personal thing, the only consideration is yours and yours alone.

I'm not exactly a fan of tattoos, but fair enough if you want them.
However my question is if any of the persons who have this done ever consider what they will look like when they are 60-70+ years old?
Yes, I ahve considered it.However my question is if any of the persons who have this done ever consider what they will look like when they are 60-70+ years old?
Thats partly the reason I dont have any that are on show under normal circumstances. i.e. on my hands.
Having said that, a man who never does anything for fear of consequences 40-50 years down the line must be a very dull man indeed.

no what you mean, as at that age will be very mature, and wearing old grandad jumpers to cover them etcHowever my question is if any of the persons who have this done ever consider what they will look like when they are 60-70+ years old?

I've considered this before...and came to the conclusion that i'll probably look like a 60-70 year old ...with tattoos!! However my question is if any of the persons who have this done ever consider what they will look like when they are 60-70+ years old?
