Cadbury's Dairy Milk. Works a treat.
we've had 2 cars at work which we've had to "de-mouse" due the mices love of the dairy milk (they got transported into the cars in boxes of) costs a bloody fortune getting mice out of a car i can tell you...now the cars have to be stripped to make sure nothing important has been nibbled, chewed, shat on etc!Piece of advice,
"The early bird catches the worm, but the second mouse get's the cheese"
Keep setting until the bait remains.
Mars bars are good, as the caramel makes it harder to come off, however it depends if the rodents have a decent alternative source of food. Apples are good for catching rodents when they have plenty of dry food.
Re the suggestion for the 12bore, not practical in the house so use a live catch trap (these are good if you have quite a few mice as you can catch 4 or 5 at a time) and let them go in a field for a bit of sport.
