Go to any garden centre, and when you pick up the fruit tree pick up a pair of secateurs at the same time...

This probably isn't helpful... but...

... that picture you have added is from a Photoshop site and is not actually real!

I don't know much about Bonsai though so maybe it is possible to get fruit like that smile

Bonsai can be made from any tree, just means it grows smaller because its kept in a pot.

you missed the point - secateurs..... normal sized tree... snip snip snip....

ETA or you can buy one of the Lemon Bonsai I'm growing at the moment - wont be ready for about 10 years though and would have to be brought in each winter...

The trees grow smaller but the fruit doesn't, Most fruit bonsais are made from miniture variety of tree eg, crab apple trees. Also bearing fruit puts lots of strain on the trees so they dont bear fruit very often, even then it has to be cut off fairly quickly to keep the tree healthy.

Grow your own then smile piece of wee wee. As long as it's not more than a year or 2 old you can do what you want with it.

I'll shut up then tongue out

Try giving Bonsai Trees Southampton a call - seem to really know their stuff and if they don't have one available may know where you can get one.
