I don't think that such a good idea, tattoo's look a bit naff at the best of times IMO. I'd recommend getting yourself a PH t-shirt or car sticker.
aha! a sensible poster... i think im gonna convert that idea, get a price for how much it would cost me to get the tattoo and then take all the money and spend it in the pistonheads shop "Grandad, what't that tattoo on your arm?"
"It's the logo of a website I used to read every so often about 40 years ago"
"... and that one?"
"That's the name of a girl I once talked to at a bar, it was 13th October 2007, She said 'Excuse me, where are the toilets?' I replied 'Down there, on the left'.
"... What about that one?"
"That's the outline of a cornflake that fell on my arm while I was watching Trisha, I had it inked to keep the memory..."

Why on earth would you get a tattoo while thinking to yourself "Its ok...I can just hide it"?
This to is coming from someone with a few large pieces.
I am the sort that puts little thought in to my tattoo's, I dont worry about if I might like it in 30 years or not because all my tattoo's are attached to an event or period in my life ....
I got mine because I like them, nothing to do with remembrance or honour, or in memory of, or dedicated to, but just because I liked them. This to is coming from someone with a few large pieces.

Despite Miami Inks best attempts to turn tattooing into a 'mind' thing, where every tattoo has to be preceded by a teary and dramatic interview, in memory of my pet snail, my pedo grandad, the dead brother I've never met or heard of, some people do actually get tattoos for non dramatic reasons.
And if anybody is worried what they'll look like when they are ninety, well, you'll be happy if saggy ink is the biggest worry you have at that age.
I got mine done a year ago as it marked a specific turning point in my life - it's not a name or anything like that, but something that I've wanted to do for ages, something pretty unique (not just chosen from the tattoo book) and it's at the top of my arm so I can show it off if I want to - I don't hide it, it's a personal thing and I did it for me.
40 years time - will I regret it? I don't know - maybe, maybe not, but it's something I did for me. I didn't regret it then and I don't regret it now...
It was a turning point, rebellion against my old life if you will - mini mid-life crisis? Maybe..

Serious question, what age are you?
If you really are that passionate about piston heads, if it is such a big part of your life why ask someone else's advice - if you want it go for it.
If you want my opinion, its a pretty chavvy / naff thing to do. Get a proper original tattoo that means something real to you
