Probably.

I once stumbled onto a site with some very strange people on it.

So I signed up and asked them all what the hell they were playing at, and that maybe, they should try their hand at existance in the real-world too.

What followed was what will go down in history as the worst flaming ever endured, and that actually they thought I was an 'insider' just winding them up as I hit all the right spots to really piss them off!

I once got a ban from 4chan.org, that was good going, as it's the equivalent of being thrown out of Hell, but it was only temporary for mentioning the name of some other entity they hate.

Not hard. You were probably mentioning Fred/Megatokyo, Ebaumsworld, Gaia Online or a whole host of other things Anonymous has picked a fight with in the past...

I have also reported the OP of this thread, hoping to get him banned for an hour, just for the sake of irony.

Hey, ho, no malice intended, but amuses me
Emsman will now be able to post about the wrath of the PH moderation team.

When we let him back in

hehe

OP if you read this please put MK2VR6.com back up, i need to know how to wire my mk3 clocks in ffs laugh
what's wrong with golfgti.co.uk?
I was told mk2vr6.com is the best place as mk2 vr6 conversions more often than not utilise the mk3 clocks.

Mine is a 20vt running QPENG and MBE management, so i need to find out wether its still a plug and play affair and what wireing i need to do for the gearbox sender on the ABF box.

If that makes any sense at all..
Yeah, makes sense. Loads of conversations on golfgti.co.uk. Some of them are even reasonable.

Personally though, I think converting a Mk2 GTI is sacrilege. But seeing as I have a vested interested in people continuing to molest their Golfs I'm none too fussed wink Keep up the good work.
It was allready fully molested before i got my hands on it, infact i've been undoing someones hard work by putting all the exterior back to standard, well apart from the addition of G60 arches.

It is insanely fast though, i think the engine is definatly a great upgrade for the mk2. I think if i had had it when it was still a 16v i would have kept it that way, its a black 3 door 1992/J so its a shame its been done, good late 3 door 16v's are hard to find these days!!

The only thing close to a ban, was shortly before Christmas last year. I had near enough all my forum permissions turned off (so no PM, no e-mail, no avatar, no signature, no post editing, no ability to report offensive posts etc). I was told this was pending my behaviour. The strange thing was, I was caught up in something I knew sweet FA about at the time (accusations flying around, which I knew nothing about until afterwards).

I hadn't insulted anyone, breached forum rules or T&C's, at all. I guess a scapegoat was needed.

The MODS of the forum had no idea what was going on - I was having posts of mine deleted that didn't breach any T&C's at all. No reason for their deletion was given (and the powers that be liked to state they'd be honest and open in such cases). When other MODS saw the trouble I was having, just to try post images and such, it was something that they had no knowledge about. The whole episode had been done in such a way that only I, and 2 people on said forum knew about it, those that were behind it. I informed a couple of the MODS whom I trusted, shortly before I quit.

I gave up when all the motorsport section essentially got turned off so any of the threads I'd spent hours compiling with useful info (racing based stuff, as a few had expressed an interest in learning about it), were now no longer visible in the 'recent topics' list. The same goes for motorsport events - they all got moved into motorsport, so again, they weren't easily visible. Put simply, the powers that be didn't want people to see what I was posting, not because there was anything wrong with it, but because for whatever reason, they just didn't like it.

Loads - me and a couple of mates (one in Hong Kong (who sadly passed away a few weeks ago frown) and one in Canada) used to go raiding biker forums.

First we got banned from MCN in early 2000 - it was a culmination of factors. You could post HTML in those days and on the subject line of a new topic (so it worked in the main forum list) I put a single white pixel which was in fact the link to an autoplaying midi file of "Beguine the beguine". Drove everyone apest biggrin and took them a fair while to work out what was happening.

Another at some Canadian bikers site CMGOnline (?) for pretending to be a Chinese prostitute and another called BikeNet cos, er, they were st.

There were more, but they pale before the autoplaying midi cool

I bait the a Fiesta forum quite a bit. They are nice enough people, just seem to take the bait a little quick!

The missus had some st on a footie forum she's frequented for years. Some bloke gave her st so I went trawling under my alterego and found out full name, what the idiot looks like and where he works.

Revenge best served cold smile

Never been banned from another forum sadly, only 4 days in the sin bin on P&P for spelling the 'C' word with a 'K'

I may sign up and see how quickly I can get chucked off.

Wow, the spelling police sure are strict around these parts.
