I am being called on my mobile by one of my old mates who keeps telling me he wants me to come and meet him. It started last night at 11pm when he said he wanted to meet right then. I said I couldnt as i was busy and asked him what the matter was - he said I been talking ste about him. As far as i can remember this is not true and it seems some people have stirred things up. I told him to talk to me on the phone but he started calling me a pussy etc and said i had to meet him in person to which i said no. He then said he knew where i was and will soon get me. Now im a 35 year old man, a director of 2 ltd companies and have 3 kids and am not a whus! I am sensible and am not interested in having a police record by going to meet him and then getting in to a rutt.

Can anyone advise what to do? Can i get some sort of court order on him so that he backs off?

If you are not a wuss why are you worrying about?

Just ignore him, there is no need to get a court order when someone calls you a pussy.

Record the convos and save any texts then report him. That's what you need to do.

" As far as I can remember this is not true" Surely you can remember whether you've sgged some one or not? And why is he an "old mate"?
Either way, ignore it, sure it'll die down.

If it is a genuine misunderstaning and he decent friend it could be sorted by a meet in a public place (unless he is psycho of the month).

If not, cut him loose. Text him/call him telling him it is untrue. If he is still shorty block his number. Move on.

We were mates a few years back not seen him for a while. The thing that worries me is that he's a heavy drug user so would quite often not be in his senses. He's not called back as yet but he did say he'll wait for me to tell him where i want to meet him today. I have told him i wont.

Posting here so that im prepared when he calls back.

Ring him yourself and ask him what the problem is - you did say you were 35 not 15.

tell him to go fk himself or come round and sort it like a man- then phone the police when he gets there and tell them you've seen him with a gun!

that'll sort him out!

Did he say exactly this? Anything else?

You could notify the police if you wish (I don't think they'll do much) and make a telephone record of the conversation. If he then calls again record it and you have a possible harassment charge which can be levied against him.

never did someones username seem more fitting...

grow a pair and ring him ffs, tell him its not true, and if he believes it is, to come talk to you. if it is true, tell him you said it, and you believe it and stand by it

and stop acting like a child, thats more than likely half the reason he is having a go at you, as he knows your bricking your load about it
