Tyres and fitting in or near Dept 87 (Haute-Vienne)

I seem to remember there was a PH'er down here somewhere who could supply and fit tyres. Don't want to trust my alloys to the local fitters who managed to graunch the steel rims of my Kangoo so am looking for somebody to fit (or supply and fit) some tyres to my summer wheels on my XF. Won't actually need them until next spring as the winters will go on next month. The tyre size is 255/35 R20 97Y and the current tyres are Dunlop Sport Maxx but would like to change to Vredesteins if possible.

Thanks for the link. The tyre prices seem to be a bit cheaper than the UK too (at the current exchange rate anyway). That fitting place is a bit too far from us as we are south west of Limoges in 87230 but will check out others that are a bit closer. The closest one on their list is the local Ford dealer who changed some tyres for me once and fitted the weights on the outside of an alloy rather than the inside of the rim, I wasn't best pleased so wouldn't take the XF wheels there.

The local branch of Simon Pneus at St Junien has been very good to me. They are friendly, helpful, take care not to mark my alloys and they put the weights in the right place. I think they charge €14 or €15 euros per tyre to fit, valve and balance if you have the tyres delivered to them. They are opposite the Hyper U store on the north side of the town.

I have recently bought tyres for my Boxster from www.Allopneu.com they were cheaper than UK and delivered in 2 days They can offer either a nearby garage, or mobile fitters in your department.

All-in-all, I am quite impressed with them.
