Hello guys,

I found a car which is 1991 year in Dubai , is it hard to get it to France and to register it ?
How much should I pay ? vat ? Customs ?

If the car is not a version which was sold in France then think carefully before you press the go button.

1991 is pre Certificate of Conformity so has to be approved on an individual basis.
I have not come across anyone who has taken this route.
Everything has to be CE marked, glass (including lights) plastic lenses, seat belts etc.

What make model are you considering and what makes it worth the effort?

Does this make 1950's 60's american cars a no no or is there a different rule for classics?

Over 30 years old is different.
You apply to the FFVE for a classic certification and take it from there.
It's with cars between 15/16 years old and under 30 years that you have problems.
