It would seem that the UK is now not the place we left and certainly not the place to go back to. :-(
Could you elaborate?

By way of balance, the people I know who voted leave are absolutely delighted with the result.

What's more, one of my customers, who has property outside the UK, not only voted leave, but stood in the local elections as a UKIP candidate. Didn't see that one coming.

Funny old world, isn't it?

Troll Alert Troll Alert !!!!!!!!!!!

International section only - France i.e people that live in France!

It does prove however that the rumours are true, anyone with an IQ less than 101 voted leave!

Is that because you have no social life and no friends?

I've lived in France 14 years. Still like to understand what you meant about the UK being different now and not wanting to live there.

Plenty of friends just sane intelligent ones like 52% of the population apparently, none of which would want to stay in a club that would have u s as members.
Anyway I seem to have strayed into the France thread, can't stand the French I'm out of herebiggrin

You do know we're going to invade next week, don't you?

Just remember one thing....

When we arrive, all this standing at the roadside and peeing into the road is going to stop...hehe

I went on a day trip to Boulogne in the late 1970's - is that sufficient? BTW I voted leave (I am "British, not European").

You seem to fit the Brexit demographic perfectly. Having "strayed" into the French thread your grasp of navigation is clearly on a par with your grasp of economics, your "can't stand the French" statement allowing your xenophobia to shine through and further underscore your ignorance.

Funny, guy I know, double doctorate, one in nuclear physics, multi millionaire with a growing UK based business voted out. Kind of pisses on the IQ theory a bit....

I see you have to surrender your sense of humour when you emigrate to France.

How very merde of them....smile

To the leave idiots. Forget what is being reported, this is the Treasury Commitee meeting on the 5th July with members of the Government asking the experts what to do next!
I dare you to watch it :-

http://parliamentlive.tv/event/index/cb083c53-3998...

I know its 2.5hours long but it demostrates that the Government have not got a scooby doo and that the "Experts" have their head in their hands with amazement at the how stupid the leave voters are.

Terryg4 - it is you who is coming across as an idiot. I am not saying which way I voted (that is my decision) but I am absolutely certain that clever people and idiots voted both ways. Stop generalising.

Now, there are plenty of threads on PH where you can moan about the Breit vote - please go there and leave us to discuss France.

Troll? My first post on this thread. I am asking nicely to keep the France thread for those with an interest in France, and the political threads to be kept in the political area.
