Hi, i'm an experienced & certified installer of Hexis Vinyl Wrap & Hexis Bodyfence PPF.
I currently live in Manchester but i'm looking to relocate to Dubai or maybe even Doha.
If there are any wrapping companies out there who are looking for staff, please get in touch.
Thanks
Bigz

Mate, a few notes which might be helpful for you.

Over the year there have been many wrapping companies and they come and go like the wind here. Mainly becuase of high rents and fees to set up I would imagine. I would imagine many dont pay well at all either.

The only 2 which have always been around for years are Foil A Car and Fibrafoil, those chaps have been here years and seem pretty consistant. They charge around 11,000 to 15,000 AED (2,000 to 2,700 GBP) a wrap for a 4 door M5 or something similar. Average that is. However many have been undercutting but of course quality might be an issue.

Personally, I would recommend that you come over and set up your own business and bring your own foils. Register as a Freelancer or small business without taking office space. Rent a place with a large garage to store your foils and do a callout service or better still, work with some of the dealers/car garages and use their locations to do the foil. That way you have no overheads and are the first choice for dealers. Many people want cars of a certain colour and partnering with car dealers and offering cheaper cost foiling would be the way to go. Plus it would help imporove their sales. I know if AGMC had offered to change the colour on the car easily and cost effectively I would have bought the M5 they had in stock.

Buy a Decent panel van and brand it up with foil and be the Foil chap on the move who can do cars at specific partner garages.

The best way to move to Dubai mate...if you want to earn money....is to earn it off your own back and not have someone else make money out of your skills. Garages dont pay decent money to people here for mechanics/foil/electricians here to be honest. So if you want to make some monkey do it yourself, but you will need 15k GBP to set up personally with rented place, car etc and likely another 20k minimum to set up the business if you want a decent van too.

Just some thoughts.

Paying the rent in 1 cheque can result in a slight discount but some landlords will take upto paying the rent in 4 cheques.

Yes, as he said.
Lowest you will likely get is 4 Cheques. As the market is under stress at the moment you should be able to get 4, but ultimately it depends on the landlord and demand of where you are looking.
