I always struggle to find motorist stores similar to Halfords, Lloyds, EuroCarParts etc when I’m on the continent. What should I look out for when I’m abroad?

ATU is about the biggest over here.

Here you can find the nearest one in your area.

Many thanks, very helpful.

So do you use ATU Mayen, or is there somewhere else nearer to Adenau?

Remmpf is another... mind you bolt-on extras are often cheap and nasty chinese junk AND don't forget you must get an ABE and if necessary get it entered on the vehicle paperwork! That's also a reason why there are few aftermarket parts here....

I don't use them anymore since I no longer drive the track frown

Mayen would be the nearest though, then Bad Neuenahr.

Why do you need one, what are you after?

Sorry to hear that, I guess I'm missed your explanation...

No plans to visit any German motor factors, but it's good to know where to go in an emergency.
