Suggest hotel stop near Wurzburg?

I'm driving through Germany in late August and I'd like to find a decent place to stay overnight to break the trip. Somewhere in the Frankfurt - Wurzburg - Nuremberg stretch seems to make best sense.

Just need somewhere to park the car, a decent bed/shower and then decent coffee/breakfast.

Any suggestions? It would be great to get a recommendation from a PHer before trying Trip Advisor/etc.

I was near Wurzburg on business a few weeks ago. I probably would have booked a faceless chain hotel, but my Gernan colleague booked us into this:

It is in Ochsenfurt, a few km south of Wurzburg. Quiet, pretty town centre. Very comfortable rooms, with a welcoming proprietor and excellent breakfast. Car parking places are 200m away, but I would be happy to leave my car there. Would certainly stay there again.

Thanks - that looks pretty close to the route I'll be taking (going South of Wurzburg). It's what I gather is called the 'Romance Road' and there's some wine festival on about then, too.

Will look into it and work out whether to stay a bit longer.

However, how much do you want to spend and what do you expect?
