Stein is a tiny village with little to do for people coming a distance. If Heerlen isn't available, what about a motel in Maastrict?

The Dutch car club are aware of this situation. Are you guys going to advise if the current hotel arrangements are still in place or if the hotel is going to be changed - officially?

I've stayed at the VDV Heerlen before when attending with a friend, but two nights single occupancy is not cost effective, so I use BnBs. If the venue is going to change then that will be slightly awkward, especially as Stein-Urmond-Sittard is not over endowed with alternative accommodation.

Think I should post this for those interested; i.e. make a weekend out of it....

Spa Summer Classic; 24-26/6, some info here:

http://spasummerclassic.com/en/

Also the Sunday will see TVRCC Belgium' summer run (location TBA)

our plans are to do the Continental, re-locate to Spa on Saturday morning, and then dependent on location of the run, either stay at Spa or closer-by the run

Take what you will from this.

Please look at the entire information on our website: https://goo.gl/JpnfgJ
Hotel Heerlen from 29 February again for hotel guests limited opening hours
Over the last few weeks were for hotel heerlen a true "rollercoaster". Little by little, there is still more information became known, we'd like to share with you.
Also on the request of our (Solid) guests and thanks to our enthusiastic team, we want our hotel from 29 February, partially opening up again. The Hotel rooms can be restricted in use are taken, including opportunities for breakfast. Also our facilities of the wellness center (swimming pool, gym and sauna) will be opened again. Reservations are only via phone or e-mail adopted. Look at you all possibilities like us grab ' n go breakfast, fast & easy bites and shuttle service on our website.
Demolition Main building
However, there are also less pleasant communications. Given the enormous material damage to our restaurant and zalencomplex, is total demolition of this center necessary. This will happen in the period up to mid-March. The demolition work have already been launched. In this period, you will be able to experience a disturbance of the demolition of the restaurant and the. There is limited parking available as well as limited availability of hotel rooms. Of course, we shall try the noise to a minimum.
Pop-up restaurant from mid-April
In the parking lot in mid-April, comes a temporary restaurant with kitchen for at least a year. The Pop-up restaurant will have approximately 325 seats. The Pop-up restaurant will be in use until the new main building is ready.
Thank you for your understanding,
With friendly regards,
Executive Board & staff

Thats a big chunk of the car park gone than, aside from all of the other disruption. Cant see how basing the event there could be viable at all this year, which is shame.

There's a couple of us planning to attend this meeting in June. However details are a bit sparse.

Is it definitely on? Is it just a single day (Friday 24th?). Where is the best place to get information?

We're probably staying in Leuven (the Oude Market is becoming a ritual whenever we pass through Belgium) and carrying onto Spa afterwards.

Measured at two places along the track: just after exiting turn 4 and just before turn 12.

Shortshift before turn 4 and off the throttle a bit early for turn 12.
That's what I do when I take the Noble on track.

At the risk of a ban, that's the track day equivalent of saying you'll withdraw during sex! 😜

Nope, I just do this to give the guy in the TVR that's trying to follow me the illusion he can keep up.
