Fair play then, im following your audio thread on the saab site.

I keep looking on ebay for the classic amps, back when i had a mk4 escort I wanted a rockford amp, but didn't have enough to get one.
That chrome amp you have looks brilliant.

Im interested in how the various amps sound on your system, in comparison. smile

There's a couple cheap Caliber Competition & PG Chrome amps on the bay now (99% sure they're the same inside just different heat sinks) the chrome PG amps are meant to be pretty nice

Yeah that Chromed Caliber looks wicked!! I just got lucky here...mega rare amps the Evolutions!! A few recon they're as good SQ as the Genesis S3 amps so we'll see. Gennys will be up for sale soon.

Try German/Austrian/Dutch ebay mate, always something tasty on there! Just google translate the pages and see if they will ship to the UK. Another good site is Marktplas (Dutch) but they're a bit reluctant to ship to uk frown (LOADS of nice old school RF/PG/Audio System amps there smile

I should be up & running next week! Just his for some used (cheap!!!) MB Quart 6.5's with my old Focal tweeters now, should still sound 1000 times better than the standard crud though smile

Just collected today - 2.0T Vector Auto- liked the spec as didn't find too many with all this on - infotainment plus, CD changer, ipod input, climate, nav, electric heated memory seats, park assist, two tone leather, body colour trim halo? thing around the top of the interior. Pretty clean inside and out, front nearside alloy a bit scuffed, couple of owners, full history, long MOT and tax all for the price of a decent tv! smile
Will get some more photos up once i've had chance to clean it

I picked this beauty up a few weeks ago after my previous wagon was unceremoniously written off by one of the unwashed. 2.0T Aero auto. It makes a very acceptable consolation prize for all the hassle. Nice of the sun to shine plenty this summer so I can enjoy the full effect too.

Here's my Aero after a good wash, clay, wash, polish and wax. Trying out Dodo juice purple haze and have to say I am pretty impressed!

The wheels are still to come off for a full clean and coat in Poorboys wheel sealant, they just got a quick wash off last night with some Wonderwheels spray on cleaner.

Naturally, after I finished and was admiring my work a bird shat on the car.

Right - tempted to clay mine but just not quite sure how to go about it. I know you have to keep the panel wet, but what do you do when the clay pics up the dirt? Do you fold it all in like blu tack? Or cut it off? If you fold it in, won't any grit then start scratching the car?

Sorry for the numpty questions!

Clean the car first, you don't want any grit on it. Keep the paint lubricated with the supplied spray, when the clay gets dirty, fold it over.

Here's my 9-3 2.0t.

Lowered and lenses smoked, and that's aboot it!

Whilst I'm on that subject, got pulled by the Rozzers this morning after 6 years of smoked lense motoring, and was told to get them changed! No ticket as no previous, but he said he'll be looking out for me!

So, 2008 clear lights it is then.....anyone else changed their 9-3 Cab lights?

Get yourself a clay mitt. Much easier!

OK, so I've actually had this thing for over a year now but I don't get to post too often to PH these days...

It is a 9-3 Aero CAB with about 75K on the clock. Pros - neat roof mechanism, memory seats, sat nav. Cons - stupid key position, parking sensor warning that warns after I've finished reversing, not quick enough.
