Right - tempted to clay mine but just not quite sure how to go about it. I know you have to keep the panel wet, but what do you do when the clay pics up the dirt? Do you fold it all in like blu tack? Or cut it off? If you fold it in, won't any grit then start scratching the car?

Sorry for the numpty questions!
Get yourself a clay mitt. Much easier!
I got one at the weekend after your recommendation and it is brilliant. The car looks so clean now. Thanks.

OK, so I've actually had this thing for over a year now but I don't get to post too often to PH these days...

It is a 9-3 Aero CAB with about 75K on the clock. Pros - neat roof mechanism, memory seats, sat nav. Cons - stupid key position, parking sensor warning that warns after I've finished reversing, not quick enough.

Lovely car, great colour. Oh and having had Saabs on and off for 18 years, it's every other car that has a silly key position. Except Range Rovers which sensibly have it in the middle too hehe

This thread seems very quiet compared to the Volvo equivalent. frown

Anyhow, here's the 9-5 Aero, I absolutely love this thing and I don't know why?

Apologies for the God awful angle, it looked okay on my phone!

Here's another one of my Aero. No visual modifications (apart from lightbulbs) but performance wise it has a 3 inch downpipe, higher pressure fuel pressure regulator, Saabnoob Stage 3 remap, uprated (apparently) clutch, and now Koni Frequency Selective Dampers. All in all quite a swift car smile

Oh, since this picture was taken I've also removed the tax disc wink

My Abbott R5, had every extra in the book including ventilated seats:

and my Favourite was my third 9000, a '98 run-out model, badged as a 2.3T but with an Aero engine and LSD - was then 'sorted' by Lui at Offord:

Oh well he who dares eh smile

Again it proves the old saying "buy on condition, not mileage".

I will just have to pull the trigger a bit faster next time.
