Forgot to upload the new exhaust clip
Emissions map loaded here but it's now off, I loaded a stage 5 rev2 map but it's a little mad and the clutch can't hold it.....pretty bonkers tbf so should go well with the new paddle clutch & Quaife
http://youtu.be/hEE017N02Js
Stage 5 rev3 map loaded here so a little easier on the clutch, hardly any clutch slip on this unless I'm really pushing it. Hunting idles normal on a re-flash as the ECU needs around 100 miles to adapt to the new tune

And here's the BSR Optiflow kit fitted (standard exhaust though) no difference in performance with this but nice to have fitted

Lovely piece of kit, love the colour combo! Can you upgrade the LPT to HOT?
Shame it's got too extra doors ;-)
With a visit to Saab Noob LPT goes from 150bhp to 220 (FPT goes from 185bhp to 220). HOT goes from 205bhp to 250 Shame it's got too extra doors ;-)
Are these Noob remaps any good? I had my old 9-5 1.9TiD remapped and it was never the same after that. Limp home mode within 50 miles, followed by DPF problems / EGR / more limp home mode. Had to get the DPF bypassed but the car was never the same. I'd get the car remapped, but am very cautious after my experience. Has anyone had any issues after a "Noob" remap?

When I bought this there was nothing else around. Perfect car would have been a 2.0 Aero, but this was the best I could do at the time.

Are you on UKSaabs? He's got an excellent rep there mate. I don't think many (maybe a tiny few) go with the pro tuners on the 9-3 and go with Karl. Are these Noob remaps any good? Worth a look anyway.

Does a bit
Wouldn't mind knowing what the TX exhaust set up is? They sound evil on cold start!!
I don't know specifics other than if you look at the Carlsson, it and the TX both have wider pipes than the regular V6s. Also, when started from cold it deliberately holds the revs at around 1500 until it's warmed through, so it helps make itself extra growly.Wouldn't mind knowing what the TX exhaust set up is? Be interested to know what set up its got mate, they've got a lovely exhaust note. Does it drone at all around 2k on a cruise? Mines got a loud boomy drone between 2-2.5k then goes beserk. Couldn't live with it if it was still my dd but can put up with it for the mileage I do now. One option is fit a couple small rear silencers to tone it down a bit then have the electric cut out just after the downpipe. Gives the same sound as it does at the moment then nice & quiet with the flick of a switch.
Here's mine after ditching the sports cat for a decat, popping & banging away like a lunatic now

After a google on this I've decided to leave it as it is. I'm better off getting something that's quicker as standard.Worth a look anyway.
These are my two at the moment but lots of plans ahead.[url]
