My 3rd Aero.
It's in the garage having a new clutch, slave cylinder and oil seal this week.
When it comes home it going straight to Silverstone for the SS (No track time!)
Thinking about upgrading all the pipes and hoses in the engine bay to silicone, and a remap to stage 1.
The jump in price to Stage 3 is a bit much for me I think? Although 300bhp would be fun..?

My 2001 SE Airflow
Bought it by accident about a year ago when my V6 406 was going to cost more to fix than it was worth
80k, 1 Family owned since new, serviced every 5k at Saab then at a specialist, had a new turbo and all new rear suspension about 2 years ago, came on matching brand new Avon ZV5s and even had a tank of petrol, all for £1200.
I've replaced the gearbox cooler pipes and the heater hose split so I replaced them with Maptun bits, replaced the headunit with a period Kenwood Mask W808.
It's a great old bus, only bought it for towing the caravan but ended up using it more than my Mini Cooper S as it's very relaxing to drive, great MPG when on a run, but it's laughable if I use it to work and back but it's not really meant for it and I don't care either way

Picked this up last month after someone jumped some lights and killed my Merc. Bought it as a quick cheap replacement, it's my first Saab but I'm liking it so much I think I'm going to keep it. 58k full service history 2 owners from new £1950. Needs a little bit of tlc in a couple of places but overall I'm very happy with it Roll on summer.

Cor blimey, some obsessive nutcase for servicing that every 5k! Great buy.
I bought my wife a 1999 9-5 2.3 SE auto estate last year. For £875. Serviced every year on the dot for the previous 12 years (fiollowing 60,000 miles as a company car) by a Saab specialist or dealer, 3000 miles between services. Turbo replaced because he was lending it to his 50 year old daughter to go on holiday, immaculate. We call it Le Shed de la Swede and love every mile in it. Saab owners treat their cars properly more often than not, in my experience.Gassing Station | Saab | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
