Yeah I used to have a 9-5 and really liked it but the 9000 is just better imo.

How much you pay insurance for that? How about road tax? MPG?

I've only had this about 8 weeks. Now got my plate on it. Bits and pieces to do to it over the winter.

Looking good! How do you find the Bilsten B8's?

I need to get them Neo Brothers grills for my car, I also spy a Turbo X steering wheel (got this on the way for my Aero)

What a great read, could feel the enthusiasm and thrill you have for the car. Always have liked the NG93 and yours looks as though it's cared for and treated right!

They definitely bring out the worst in our roads, but the car does handle superbly now compared to stock.

And no actually it's just a Vector wheel, the Turbo X one's are the same style but with a slightly thicker rim.

Ah yeh just looked at it again, I'm going from Aero with silver buttons to Turbo X with silver buttons, and also got some black buttons coming.

I'm on OEM dampners and Maptun springs at the moment.

You'll have to cut the arms of the newer buttons to get then to to fit on the wheel as they are in the opposite position the silver ones for some reason.

And ah ok. I'd still recommend getting some better shocks, unless yours are still in good condition (mine weren't, I could compress all of them with just one hand lol)

Just fitted it now, black buttons slotted straight into the Turbo X wheel no cutting required, 5 mins to swap over, most of that was fiddling behind the wheel getting the airbag to come out.

Ah yeah you'd be right. That's because I put facelift steering wheel buttons on an 05 wheel

The power fold mirrors have never worked, but I recently found a mod on the Saab UK forum where you replace a little component (£2 for 10!) in the back of the mirror. Took 30 mins for each side and we now have folding mirrors again!
I don't suppose you have a link to that page by any chance? I've been trying to find it (but can't) as I need to do the same to mine. Tia

Lovely. How're the sills or have you had them done?

I was looking at various SAAB history sites to find out whether the mini-lite style wheels I have are correct as I thought all the turbos came with wheels like yours. Turns out mine are right, they were an option. I think yours look better though.

My recent acquisition. I've cleaned/valeted it, given it a service & replaced the rotting rubber vacuum hoses with silicon plus a shiny dump valve. Interior lights are now all LED

Next step will be a Noob visit.

Looks reasonably tidy. Which engine has it got?
