My recently purchased 9-5 Aero estate. I'm really liking the comfort and useful pace but I'm slightly worried I've already started looking at the tuning options.
For £60 ish a chap called Karl who goes by the username SaabNoob on the uksaabs site will remap it to stage 1and it's well worth it.
I had it done and my car is much quicker as a result.
I'm now thinking about stage 3!

Really? So what is the power gains on the stock 250bhp? How much is torque increased from the standard manual 258ib?For £60 ish a chap called Karl who goes by the username SaabNoob on the uksaabs site will remap it to stage 1and it's well worth it.

Hi folks
Just thought I would share some piccies of my refurbed wheels and hood. The wheels are done in Satin Black and I coated them yesterday in G-Techniq C5. The centres are off fleabay for around a fiver. The centres seem sticky enough but time will tell!
The hood has been treated with Renovo hood dye: firstly to get the base dark blue back to one shade and then with black. She is going back in on Tuesday for another coat as I am not happy that it is uniform.
Also having a stage 2 detail on Tuesday as I have never clayed her and polished her before. She was 'just' my daily driver but as we are moving house I am selling our other fun car and keeping the 9-3. When my local detailer gets her immaculate then I can keep her up to that condition (hopefully).
Then off to the SoF and les Grandes Alpes for a fornight in her
Nice pics, we also have a convertible in this colour in 2.8T Aero guise, my wife chopped in our grey c-max for it, leaving my alfa as the sensible family transport...Just thought I would share some piccies of my refurbed wheels and hood. Doing 18-19mpg average currently although it we will out perform the Alfa on a motorway run at circa 30mpg.
Care to share by post or pm how much the hood restore cost as ours is grey going on green!

Takes it to around 275bhp and torque is increased to about 310 lb.Any links mate?
(Mine is an auto so might be different for a manual.)
An yes there's a notable difference after the remap!
No links but if you go to uksaabs.co.uk and take a look in the performance forum there's loads of info there.

Hi
Had to buy a more suitable family car as my first child is due in May.
Have had this a little over 3 months - just got back from a 1800 miles worth of fuss free and comfortable cruising to my Mums and back in the S.France over Christmas.
It is immaculate inside and out, has Hirsch trimmings and chip, goes jolly well indeed! What do you think?
