Help needed with this 9-5 engine part please

So Saab guru's, i have a split pipe near the air intake hose on my 9-5 2.3T Aero.





Our local Honda dealer also has a Saab parts dept, went there yesterday and no luck, either with a part number or being able to get one. I have emailed Neo brothers but no response yet. So trying a source one but i have no idea what its called or what it is supposed to do. Cant get to my mechanics until Saturday so i have patched it for now, any ideas?

If it's just a plain length then measure the diameter and bore and just buy some from Halfords?

Its a 8mm to 6mm reducer. The cheapest way to replace it is to buy a 8mm/6mm/6mm t off ebay and replace the plastic T in the pipe...
