Guys what Gearbox Oil is best for Saab 9-5 Aero Hot ?

If its a manual box you need MTF0063. Its the red synthetic oil. Depending how old your 9 5 is it may have different oil in it, this is now the recommended oil. If you're changing it yourself and haven't done it before google the procedure as there is a flushing out of the old oil required

Thanks for the info.

The Car is a 2002 model with Auto Box.

Is it accurate that Saab state the gearbox is sealed for life and the oil does not require replacing ?

They did say sealed for like....however they later decided to drop the oil quantity to 2.something litres giving a smoother 1st-2nd change when cold.

Can't remember specifics at the moment - quick google should answer.

My 9-5 is a Dame Edna HOT Aero, but it's a manual. I recently changed the gearbox oil for Fuchs Titan 75W - 80 under the advice of Opie Oils. It has made the gear shift quality much better.
