2004 9-3 aero, no xenons!!

Hey saab fans!

I've just been to view a 2004 9-3 aero 2.0T, seemed an honest car however one thing that was odd was it didn't appear to have xenons.

I thought this was standard on these models and it had the washers but it definitely had the yellowish glow of halogens, no crisp white light. So this gave some alarm signals as maybe something hidden in its past. However it was Hpi clear and it drove well.

So were there any dodgy spec import cars that could account for this?

The Linear models I think only came with halogen, Vector with xenon and Aero with bi-xenon.

Xenon bulbs dull with age. Could just be they need renewing.

Thanks for the replies, I had almost forgotten about this.

It was very odd and they definitely did not look like xenons, either way I didn't buy that particular car!

I did however purchase an '06 2.8T model this past weekend, its awesome!
