Hope someone can help, just got my 9-3 estate and there is a fault on the entertainment centre that is as described elsewhere on here as being due to a faulty amplifier under the front passenger seat, supply keeps going off and there is no audible warning to the indicators. It seems that the recommended way of repairing this is to send off the amplifier to a company on e-bay who will perform a by-pass on the unit. Has anyone had this done and was it successful?
Secondly, instead of a spare wheel, I have the compressor and sealant. As i am not filled with confidence by this, is it possible to fit a space saver in to the wheel well? Is there enough room? Has anyone else done this? Can I use a Vectra space saver wheel?
Thirdly, has anyone got the trim that covers the fixing screws on the passenger side roof rail, mine is missing.
Grateful for any help or advice,
Steve.

My 2006 9-3 estate had a space saver in the wheelwell, so I'd say yes. I'd imagine that a vectra space saver would fit, but I also thought a full sized wheel would too tbh!
Mine had 16' wheels, just so you know.

The amp gives sound to the some of the speakers in the front, and also the indicators and parking bleeps so its definitely nice to have.

When I had mine, I thought mine was a problem so I bought a second hand one on eBay. Turned out mine wasn't defective so I had sold the second one back on. I think I bought for about 100 and sold for less than that. Really easy to change so I would say just get another one and replace it.

Quick update. I have bought a 16 inch space saver and will look at putting that in the boot at the weekend. As far as the amp is concerned, you have confirmed what I thought was wrong and the car is now back at the dealers for repair, fingers crossed it will be ok. Thanks to all that replied.
