I'm now the proud owner of a 2004 Saab 95 Aero !
Espresso Black
FSH
105k on the clock
2 tone leather (tan & black)
Sat nav etc
I paid £2k for it and I'm delighted.

I've never had a saab before and I'm surprised how comfy it is and how quick. I was considering an old 7 series or Lexus but I feel I have a bargain and have a lot of car for my money.
First thing is a poly bush change & transmission fluid change

Congrats. Post up some pics. I've had two SAABs and I have also just bought a 9-5 Aero Estate and I really like it. I don't know how long you plan to keep it, but you should take some comfort in the fact that mine has done 203k biggrin

I shall be getting mine serviced in August and will probably get the transmission fluid changed. Parts are surprisingly cheap too. I've just ordered some rear pads for £18. Discs are quite pricey though.

Are the 95's much better than the 93's?

My 93 was Ok but plagued by creaks & rattles & a very, very poor interior/dash.

I'd be tempted by a decent 95 if it s class above as it were?

The 9-5 interior is very well screwed together, but it was very dated when it was launched and the 9-3 interior from the same year (2005) was much better IMO. I currently own a 05 9-5 Aero and I also had an 05 9-3 TID before that.
