I'm looking for a 9-3 TID sportwagon and having missed for various reasons a couple of cars with around 100k miles, now have budget creep & I've now set my sights on a facelift 07/08 period and wonder how different the late 150bhp car is compared to the TTID with 178 bhp? I'm not into auto boxes quite yet ;-) though wonder if the extra bhp is noticeable and has anyone traded up into a TTID from a 150bhp and would be prepared to offer their thoughts? Thanks biggrin

My OP was due to having spotted a very cheap 9-3 TTID sportwagon for £3850 on the A/trader and I wanted to know the difference in "go" etc although I went to see it and was not surprisingly disappointed at the condition given the 114k miles showing. I've put a deposit down on a 150bhp sportwagon instead that also has loads of history from a specialist and has been cleaned/prepped properly for sale rather than having a dirty sponge and some tyre spray around the wheels!

I've had both and would go for the TTiD every time and then a Hirsch upgrade to 200bhp

Thanks for the reply....budgetary issues meant either a well sorted 150 Tid from a Saab specialist or a questionable service history TTID and commonsense prevailed with the car with full history etc & a warranty. Maybe next time the budget will stretch to a TTID smile
