I potentially may be getting my 9-3 back so want to lower the car for better handling.

Not too pricey please as that's all the ones I could find with my poo Google-Fu skills and EBay searches.

What is the best kit for lowering an SS 9-3 Vector 1.8t? 03 plate if that helps.

Tempted to go for coilovers next and bigger wheels once the clutch is sorted smile

Thanks for replying GD. Read your thread last night on UKS.

Is the set-up the same on all models of 9-3? Any links for cheapest places to buy?

I bought these 2nd hand mate and I think they came from the v6 estate as I couldn't find any Eibachs back then for the v6 saloon... but have had no issues in 2 years. Handles well enough but it's in getting fully black polybushed and then a Quaife fitted next month for the stage 5 tune. Gonna need it wink

Best to check with Eibach or give Neos a call, they also sell the Eibach & B8's in a kit called B12, also sell the Maptun coilovers. Neos will give you the best answer here and suggest a decent set up for you.

I think H&R give a slightly lower drop but have heard bad things about Maptun springs so would probably give these a miss.

There's also Hirsh springs but they're £££!! You should pick up a set of Eibachs for just under £200.

B8's are designed for lowered cars (v.nice combo!!) but there's also B6 or if you want a more comfy ride B4.

HTH (you'll get a lot more/better advice on UKS than me though!)

Is there anywhere I can purchase decent suspension setups? The only place that offers any sort of variety is the below:

http://www.partsforsaabs.com/index.php?cPath=2_189...

Even then, the stuff is only Koni/HR parts.

Also afaik Vectra C suspension fits so you might be able to pick up cheaper coilovers for it? Best ask on UKS though, I know it's been done but not sure what problems they ran into
