Greeting all Saab enthusiasts. I have the most delightful 900 into stock and its
a true sensation. Problem is that I am having trouble placing it or pitching it
to the right community, its not like a Porsche or a Bmw where there are loads
of sites and boards etc. Anyways, any tips/info on the car would be greatly appreciated,
its a stunner, a couple of pics below and them main body of advert can be found in
the link

UK Saabs forum is where you need to advertise that.

I can think of 5 saab forums off the top of my head (uksaabs, uksaabsite, saabcentral, saabscene, the saabclub.co.uk), and 2 facebook groups!

It's nice to see what was, after all, a low spec "cooking" model in such good condition. They often fall by the wayside. I like that it's unrestored too, all original. I raised my eyebrows when I saw the price as that is very strong money for an 8v non-turbo, but the condition is unprecedented, and there are fewer and fewer of these around now.

GLWTS.

Get in touch with the mods on www.uksaabs.co.uk and apply for a trader status (free) we'd love you to put that on UKS!

Thanks to all, yes the price is more than one would expect but what on earth
do you compare it to? I feel that Saabs have yet to hit the classic status money
that other models command, it is only a matter of time though.

I actually have a chap coming all the way from London on Friday, anyone
who views it in theory should buy it as its immaculate

I hope he didn`t drive it all the way - it would be too much of a shock for the poor thing!

Drove it the whole to SW London, never missed a beat, said it was fantastic
and the weather dry all the way...

Well done - it belongs in a Saab showroom (if there are any) or a museum of design to show how something deserves to be made. There was a Saab ad back them along the lines of `correctly designed & manufactured` - I`ll try & find it.

That was quick!

I appreciate if you don't want to be crass and talk numbers, but I would be interested to hear if it sold for the ball park figure it was advertsied for?

correct, my thoughts too, not for using now, however that is what it is going
to be used for, high days and holidays, look out for it in Kingston Upon Thames.

I`m pleased it`ll be used - my first Saab was an `84 saloon which was very classy. I`ve tried to find that ad without success, as soon as the words Saab & design are in the search you get dozens of pictures of skinny girls posing for Elie Saab clothing & perfume!
