Evening to fellow Saab owners.

Have a 9-5 Aero HOT manual, 2000 year, lovely car used as a daily.
Flexi pipe after cats has a hole in it. Tried a quick bodge but can't get under car easily with ramps though.

Took car to a place that has always been good with sorting things out, but there has been a change of management and it has gone all 'We can do that for you, but those bolts might break so we'll charge you this much just in case"...

I can predict the outcome.
Quoted £145 for flexi pipe to be replaced if bolts don't break, and over £310 for both cats etc in case the bolts do indeed break.

I was thinking (looking at price of part) circa £60.00 for it to be done.

Anyone here have an exhaust system or part that will do the job?
Any tips?

I can almost buy a whole car for that! I sound like my Dad.

my local powerflow replaced mine. they just (at my request) cut the duff bit out and built a replacement flanged section for the flexi. can't suggest the price for just the flexi bit as they also made me a decat, a bolt in 100 cell race cat and the flexi bit but my bill for that lot in 3" stainless was £280

Hmm interesting.
I think this might be the way forward.
