Hi chaps,

Bought myself a used Sportswagon (2010) my first Saab- it's great.

Just want to improve it where possible and utilise it for family stuff- it has the gaps in the roof for the rails (I assume feet) but searching on the web often the roof rails for sale are for Saab's with existing rails with a gap to the car.

Has anyone else had to buy feet/rails, if so what did they get?

Thanks in advance.

Ah okay thank you. Think I was looking in the wrong places!
I assume I could buy the separate parts listed the feet and fitting kit on eBay.

Thought I would quickly revive this... My box does not fit with the new rails bought from the above link... The gap is too large...

Did you buy a new box too? Assuming it can be any brand..

I've never fit a box to mine, only carried bikes. Which gap is too large, the gap between the front and rear bars?

Oooh interesting. I've got the Saab OEM roof bars on my 2007 sport wagon and the front and rear bars are too far apart for my roof bag.

I have Thule roof bars and my box didn't fit. Gap was over 85cm between bars- normal is apparently 75-85. So they say...

Anyway just drilled new holes into the box so it fits now.
