Any PHers driving in the Britcar?

I've got some friends coming to stay for the weekend so I'm going to take them to Brands Saturday. Be good to support any fellow PHers!

Yes I'm racing in it.

Car 46 the INGSport BMW 320i and if we finish we win the outright Production Championship.

Not sure which garage we're in yet but when Britcar put the garage plan out I will let you know to come say Hi.

I was stood on the outside of druids for that shot I never went inside because of all the flashes. shame there wasnt more supercopa's thought

there were a lot of flashes going off in the infield at druids, and also directly ahead as we braked under the bridge.

and yes, supercopas were a bit thin on the ground for the final round, in fact the grid as a whole was a bit light but that's always the way as the season draws on i suppose.

Were you suffering from high brake temps? Your brakes were far brighter and seemed to glow longer.

Its because the Seat Supercopa's weigh 1200kgs, have no engine braking... AT ALL(thanks to the DSG Gearbox) and being front wheel drive the rear brakes do more to help the cars balance under braking than actually help to slow it down. As a result the front brakes have to work very hard compared to anything else.

Awesome cars to drive though, truly awesome, its been a real privilege

Cheers for the explanation, I was woundering why the seats brakes were do much more pronounced than the other cars.
