Nice to see a trip back to Oulton Park and good to see that they appear to have made an effort not to clash with any big meetings.

Any idea what is happening at Donington in May to warrant a full weekend and use of the GP circuit? Doningtons own calendar doesn't give anything away beyond it being a BRSCC weekend.

I've raced on the GP circuit, so its not that unusual. And this is only released as provisional so there could be tweaks yet to do.

Yea, I was fearing the same. I've been to pretty much everyone and apart from the Silverstone 24hr/1000k is the highlight of my year for Britcar. Just as upsetting for me is that No Britcar endurance at Brands this year just one of the baby classes, and we all know how they end up,apart from Production.

I hear ya. It's only been recently (last 2 years) that I had my first encounter with Brands Hatch, amd what an amazing circuit it is, day or night. Though I much prefer the International circuit to the Indy.

Fingers crossed, let's hope not this year!!

I'm feeling good about this year for some reason - long may it last!!

IIRC, it is still pending confirmation from Silverstone. Not interested in the 1000km, if the 24 doesn't go ahead?

What car do you have to run in it, Mark?

Both of those are really nice cars - they look and sound fantastic, on and off track

Is that the car you built that Strata 21 raced at the last 24 hrs?

Alas there will be no 24 Hour at Silverstone this year. The local council have put the boot in - possibly for good cry

It of course would be good if Britcar made an official announcement via their website which has not been updated yet..

It is a very recent piece of information, and the Britcar team have been at the Autosport show since last Weds, but I am sure information will flow shortly.

Snetterton - Really ?? Having done a 24 hour race there a couple of years ago, it is not something I am keen to repeat given the total lack of anything there. There is a car limit of 48 cars on the grid as well (I think) so I think Britcar would struggle financially with such a limit.

It is indeed a great shame for British Motorsport

I went to the Willhire 24 hrs a few times in the late 80s early nineties and found it a pretty enjoyable event.
Surely with the 300 format it must be able to start more for an endurance race.

Would be quite a bit cheaper than Silverstone GP though. How many entered for the 6 hour last year?
