Apparently over 50 provisional entries so far, but no other info anywhere else. Also looks like it's a bit earlier at the start of April.

Yes - GT4 will be the highest catagory now. I am thinking of entering our Ginetta G55 GT4 and need to decide fast if I will, but am looking for other drivers who have experience and obviously the budget to pay for their seat.

I can only assume the GTs are out because of the noise restrictions?

Possibly but then the only cars to fall foul of the noise restrictions in recent years have all been touring cars.

100% agree with this. Creventic listen and think of the racers. I have competed in 5 Dubai and 1 Barcelona 24hr races with Creventic and always look forward to racing at events managed by them.

I see that it's now the "Hankook 24hrs" at Silverstone.

Yes because Hankook are the tyre sponsors for all of Creventic's 24 hour races. WEC is currently scheduled to be 2 weeks after it.

So you are Crevetic's rep in the UK as well as running Britcar, Claire? What's the relationship between Creventic and Britcar? Just interested.

Creventic contacted me and asked me to be there UK Representative which i was very happy to accept.

So i will be from the 20th November working to build the grids up on the new Britcar 2016 Championships and help Creventic run the 24hr at Silverstone in April 2016.......Busy busy....

Thanks Claire, how does all this fit in with James' statement that, "I move on to bring The UKV8S Championship 2016, plus new ways to bring the costs down in our sport by launching a New Organising Club".

I think you must be looking at the 'BtitCar' entry list as opposed to the Creventic one.

Natasha from Creventic confirmed that Britcar 24 Hour Silverstone will be TCR only in 2016 (G55 for example is not eligible). Reasons given were:

Growing popularity of TCR
Expense to teams of getting GT cars to adhere to 102 Db noise limit with no guarantee they can race

She suggested other Creventic races in order to manage a 24 hour race.
