David, is it on SKY at anytime or just Motors TV, as I've had people ask me if the Motors TV channel is one that needs subscribing to, I have it within the Shy HD set up but not everyone has this and have Sky Plus instead.

Motors shouldn't need subscribing to seperately, it comes usually as part of a channel pack (on Virgin its on the XL package for example).

It won't be on Sky as we only have deals with Motors and ESPN. Sky were not 'suitable' for this years shows.

IIRC Motors is part of the "news" pack on sky....
I remember being a bit p1553d off as I had to add news when I thought it would be in the sports pack!

Does anyone else think that the coverage of the race was pretty poor? There was very little information about positions at any point other than the grid and the final result, what was happening during the race (certain cars that were front running and then dropped back or vice versa etc), and nothing about fastest laps or relative pace of the cars.

On a positive note, I was pretty impressed with how much incident was caught on camera - its easy to feel like your team is the only one having problems when things go slightly wrong! The pre-race coverage of a few drivers and Teams was good too...though a quick grid walk and shot of each car before the warm-up lap would have been good.

I think for the level that the championship is at, they could at least have a graphic on the screen showing maybe positions at hourly or half hourly intervals - considering we were all there at the track, it was next to impossible to follow what was going on from watching the program.

I agree the TV coverage did not flow with the race, did not really give info on who is where/when and seemed to give a rather "club racer" feel. :-(
