2 Chimeras in Horsham

Both spotted today, the first was black and followed me into Tesco carpark, I was not in the Cerb. Had a quick chat with the owner who had it for 2 years, he was familiar with Pistonheads but was not a forum user, hopefully he'll sign up now

Second, was turquoise and parked in Monks Gate, unfortunately it had loads of smoke billowing out as I drove past, so I turned round and went back to offer assistance, promptly discharged my dad's fire extinguisher under the bonnet, then spent the next 5-10 mins helping keep the flames down with 2 garden hoses before the fire brigade turned up to do a proper job. Not too much damage thankully, but it was certainly a worrying time watching the flames coming from under the bonnet!!

Only did what I thought every rightminded person would do in that position. Guess I was wrong though as no-one else stopped!!

I had help years ago from a stranger when I lost my engine oil. I was in the TVR and he stopped because he always wanted one.

If it was not for him I would still be there now becasue my mobile battery had died.

Great guy.
