Those canyon roads look awesome. Car goes very well - and very quick. It would be good to see the speedo - to see speed/acceleration - although I guess you don't want to incriminate yourself!!!

Now ya got it, I even post "This video has been edited for the illusion of speed" . After all no Lotus could be this quick in the real world.

I need a navigator and some pace notes. It would be so cool to know what the next turn will be without having to lift.

Looks like a huge amount of fun and I love what you have created but don't you ever get fed up with coming off the gas after 2 seconds?

Would love to see what you can do a 1/4 mile in and how quickly you can get to xyz mph etc

As you can see the haters are still in attendance and a little sunscreen on my nips is all I need…

It's almost impossible to get another car in a video since they ether pull over to let me pass or they just don't try to follow. It is just so much quicker with the shorter rear ratios now… I'll get some car bike action video again if I can…

Nah, the track would just bore me going in circles. now if they would put a centerline on the track and add some walls and a few cliffs I might think about it.;)

Think the weather comment was sarcasm (if your hater comment is in relation to that one - apologies if you were directing it at somebody else!). He certainly wasn't being serious about the weather, considering this is what some of us Elise owners are driving round in this side of the pond...



Granted, on the roads rather than in the sea, but you get the idea!

RE other people who don't like your car, you just have to remember that everybody gets different things out of driving and cars. I personally enjoy bouncing off the rev limiter and going up and down through the gears - suspect that would leave me driving around in 1st, maybe 2nd gear in your car or face losing my licence - but would still love a go in your car. Just don't think I'd create something like that if I had the money (glad somebody is nutty enough to though as I do like reading about it).

Doesn't make it any less impressive for what it is, but I can understand why some people don't like it. Some people have a hissy fit if you put stripes on your car or change the air filter / exhaust / mild modifications, so they're never going to cope with your bastardised Elise!!

Each to their own - you built it for you, not them, so enjoy. Hope you haven't got ttted in the teeth by too many wasps/bees/stones so far!

To be honest I wish someone would play with photoshop designs on my car to see what colors stripes or combo of the two would look cool. I mean the white looks good but it really isn't up to the car's performance… anyone ?

If you drove any faster on the roads I've shown you would loose much more than your license as you are flying off the cliff and so far the wind diverter is doing it's job much better than I thought it would.
The only bugs so far and I stopped getting stoned a long time ago..
