Frank's next challenge must be to turn the rocket sled into the ultimate S1 Exige.

Now that would be something.

Sure you have one more makeover in you before you hang up your driving shoes.

What? Which booster are you loosing Ronin? Guessing you're ditching the SC?

Also got any pics of the inside of the manifold?

Supercharger is gone... Runners are the same length as the supercharger manifold.

Yup it's just your everyday run of the mill one off carbon fiber body, 700 whp RS211 now.

Look away it's so ordinary ..

There's a pile of turbo Eliges out there but there was only one twin charged.

I'm a bit confused as well...

Why has the supercharger gone?

I assume this set up will be even lighter but will that offset the 'torque fill' (buzz phrase of 2014 by all accounts) the SC provided?

Will likely be a very different driving experience now and will be interested to see a dyno plot when that beast comes on boost, I imagine a delicate right foot will be needed!

Ronin, What the length of the runners on the new intake? obviously runner length is not as critical on a superchargered engine thanks to the boost making up for a poor intake manifold. However in an ideal world you want decent length runners.

Also, have you got any other means of making the turbo to respond nice and quickly - ie anti-lang?

The supercharger was needed to spark things up for the tall gearing of the standard Toyota E153 gearbox replacement. But now that I've installed the much shorter Kazz gears I am always in the RPM sweet spot for turbo spool up.

My buddy Simon has a quick Honda S1 with compounding so all is not lost. As for the pile of turbo Eliges out there are all slow and heavy and I never tried to be anything but have my own Lotus running the way I thought it should be.
Not the fastest or the flashiest but the car I wanted it to be.
As Porsche said.

There will be a bit of anti-lag tuned in but the billet ball bearing 6262 spools up pretty quick on its own.
So taking out 35 lbs and 60+hp of parasitic hp loss should make things a tad better me thinks and the extra power will take a drive or two to feel back up to normal.

As for the runner length I've played around with turbos for a long time and the manifold volume should make for a quick drive and the absence of massive low RPM torque will extend bearing life.... But we'll see since no one else is talking or sharing any R$D whistle

Ronin, are you changing anything internally? Upping comp. ratio slightly maybe?

No need to. All the bits will be the same but the power will be up with the turbo alone.
