Hi Frank,
traction and power delivery make a very good impression. your mapping and engine strategy seem to work out really well.
From the video it seems you now more often use the higher rpm ranges compared to the compound charged engine.
Enjoy

Think Frank has shorter ratios now so doesn't need that lower down shove from the SC.

That is an awesome car but, it seriously needs some kind of paddle shift.

This is how quick the changes are on my Fury R1:

It needs nothing..... Paddle all you like on your goat paths.... I'll just cruise. wink
I don't think you realize how fast this car cruises on partial throttle barely getting into the 680whp on tap.

Less of the frantic, twin charged instant torque delivery, choosing slower shifting manuals and now you're out "cruising"?

I think you're getting old Frank!

There is more torque on tap and it is quicker from 5,000 rpm-9,000 rpm then the twin charged setup :-)
To be totally honest I can't stay in boost for more than a second or two without running out of road. The grip feels as though there are no limits and I have to tell my self to slow the fk down in the corners...

It is just mental...

PS I would love to have a Fury R1 and tear through the tight twisties....very cool

Hey Frank,

As an Elise owner, I just stumbled across this thread. Read the first 3 pages and decided to skip the next 32 and cut to the chase. Why is that are such a tool exactly? Be very interested to know.

It seems there are some words missing in your post, but I think it's obvious what you're getting at..

I imagine he'll probably re-direct that question to you.

Why not? IT could be 'Torque Fill' while the turbo is spooling up. smile
