The best colour for a Europa! (I am biased mine is Canyon Red as well). I debated changing wheel colours and changing wheels to Team Dynamics, in the end I left the wheels as standard Silver.

New one listed, £18,989 from a dealer, 29k miles...very nice...it's surprising how much a difference good photos can make, looks superb in the first photo imo...the catch? It's in Edinburgh! (well if you're a southern softie smile )

Edit, forgot the link!! http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/4052025.htm

Mines only £500 more, located much more central and is a proper, full spec 225 Lux touring. Miles are pretty similar.

Yes does look good in black, I thought maybe red for a while but think black looks best...I'll be back to red next week wink

Is yours the £20,500 one, or is it less than that - that's £1500 difference isn't it ?

Opps my mistake, got it in my head the other one was £19,989, I must pay more attention. Mines still worth another £1500 though ;-)

Same as mine (not for sale smile ), except mine is a 225, but then again most are, it's just the sellers don't know it!. Has the worthwhile addition of the 4 channel ABS (just done mine), as the standard one is only 2 channel (the same as the VX220) and quite frankly shocking.

Slightly different Europa but Pure Lotus have Six Europa postings all the same price remarkable really...............I would have thought being yellow would have caught the eye without keep posting the same ad multiple times.....

Ha ha, I've just done a search, I see what you mean....yes I don't understand Pure Lotus, the car that started this thread 3 months ago (Black Europa 11k miles, £20,985) is still advertised for sale on their website....iirc the previous owner posted that it had definitely sold, maybe it's up for sale again (?)

This is interesting, this has been advertised for 19k for a while now...it's now changed to 'price on application' (it still says 19k in the details actually) ..is this dealer speak for 'open to offers'?

Compared to some of the private adverts the price didn't look too high, although the mileage is maybe a bit higher... does anyone know this car??

I don't know the car, but I did exchange a few emails with them about it a month ago to find out a bit more about it and see what they might be prepared to offer as a p/x value on my S1 111S. They confirmed that as far as they're aware it doesn't have the 225 upgrade - certainly the discs look standard in the photo. When I checked on the "Start" button I could see in the photo they said the start button was a standard on the Europa S - I told them from my limited knowledge I didn't think it was, and that from the photos it looked like the car had some interior updates (not full SE though - perhaps if it was sat on the forecourt at the original dealer for a while it had a few done). The original advert mentioned an LSD, and I said I thought that unlikely and they confirmed they were wrong about that and fixed the advert. The p/x value they offered me showed they do have some wiggle room over price, although in the end I decided given how far away they are from me and given it's a non-225 car and canyon red isn't my first choice colour that I wouldn't pursue it further.

Thanks for the info...I've just found this, from a link within one of the other adverts: http://www.carenthusiast.com/reviews.html?mode=art...

Cool - a photo of the interior before it had the updates - I did tell Silverlink I thought it was the start button, sill covers and gear knob that had been done and it looks like I was bang on.
