Yup warranty, hardtop and road tax included. It's getting a once over next week and a fresh mot and i should be getting the train next saturday to collect. I actually prefer the alcantara interior and it really is like new. Most the miles were done in the last year and its been serviced at well known lotus dealers.

Still stalking my 1st purchase, another question for the people who know...
Has anybody dealt with Will Blackham as a dealer, he seems consistently to have great stock at the right
price, always tempted by his motors ?

I didn't buy from him, but certainly spoke to him several times when I was looking.

Will is a decent guy IMHO; and well regarded on SELOC

Hi,

I bought him my first Elise, a '99 S1 in 2010.
All went smooth, the car was in the advertised state when I collected it in Chalfont.
I know a few persons who bought cars from him and they all had the same experience.
Maybe his car's prices are a little higher than the average, but imho, his service deserves it.

Éric Masson. Happy customer wink

I've had exactly the same experience.
Will is a dealer, but not a wheeler dealer.

Tiny child means I'm doing about 500 miles this year. I may be in a similar boat unfortunately.

I applaud your taste in Saabs, and also in the colour of your lotus.

Shame about the ABS and electric windows though.... tongue out

Hah! I envy the feel of your unservoed brakes, but not their lack of ABS!

Anyway, isn't the electric window mechanism said to be lighter than the wind-up one?

hehe

The funny thing about Elises is that the differences between them look like hair-splitting when you compare them to most other things you can buy - the closest thing to any Elise is another Elise!

The mechanism is, the motor, buttons and associated wiring isn't...

I've not seen a definitive answer to that. It would almost be more interesting to know the truth for certain, but then where is the fun in that?
