Looks impressively cohesive, although I agree with the above comment about the exhausts looking wrong.

It really is a fantastic project!

Interesting to see the state of his bottom-end bearings... These M5 V10s are a risk, sadly!

The worst case scenario is ditch the V10 and pop any V8 in there. At least there would be plenty of room left for cooling and working on it.

Yeah the v8 from the e90 M3 would be awesome with only a tonne to push - and it sounds incredible

That'd make it around 100kg lighter than the donor, which would be bloody impressive.
