Ah... and look at the Brera behind you. That's our house right there; Lotus, Brera, 4 year old boy, sensible family car...? Nope.

Cheers

I apologise for the poor quality iphone pictures taken at the local photo wall.
But you get the idea.

3 years on, I'm still sulking that my wife wouldn't allow me to have an orange one.

Frank amuses me. I think it's as ugly as sin (no offense), but it's somehow awesome! I think it's the fact I remember seeing it at Llandow when driving my mate's 130bhp ish Elise, and by the time I'd got round the final corner it was already 200yards ahead and braking for the end of the straight, spitting massive flames as it went.

Made me giggle.

You're just jealous because you can't afford an Elise!

Oh, wait, no, that's not right...

To be fair, it's just the round headlights and comedy ride height on later cars that make it look like a beach buggy - they look a helluva lot better when lowered.

Edit: Incidentally - what engine is / was in your S1? And what's with the additional air duct behind the roll bar?

biggrin sadly I think I may have lost the flames after the cat and 2bular was installed. Less pops and bangs as well frown Makes it a bit more likely to pass noise tests though wink

I certainly don't think the shape of the rear clam works as well as it does with the Exige top section, but I wouldn't change it as it's only 2 of a kind.

Loved it at Llandow in the very wet conditions, one of my favourite track days ever.
