I love that colour.

Is that the one with a few miles on the clock?

Good work and nice to see someone willing to get into an Elise/Exige with some miles on it (I once bought a v low mile Elise and it was a sack of sheet - subsequently bought a "high mile" Exige and had many more problem-free miles).

I used to see that car regularly when Simon Kirby owned it and regularly (but sympathetically) tracked it. Money was lavished at the car and I always adored the colour. Congrats.

How does the Exige compare to the 111R Rick? I have got a 111R, would love an Exige but then I am finding it hard to justify another £10-£15k on top of the Elise

My 111R sold very quickly. This was another £12.5K and worth every penny.

Problem with the 111R is that it's such a good car for under £20K, nothing else can really compete. I'd say the Exige is more realistically priced and the 111R is undervalued. That's maybe why there is hardly and for sale and I had a phone call offering full asking within 5 min of listing the advert!

The Exige is a good chunk of money, but if you can find the extra, I'd say it's worth it. It's the depreciation you need to consider rather than the capital outlay.

The Elise is the better road car and I would happily have had a 2ZZ SC Elise but they are rare, and the ones that are for sale are knocking on Exige money, so thought may as well try the Exige. Fantastic performance.

2 years with this and I'll be knocking on 40 so then into an Evora I think.;)

Thanks for that Rick, I will be 30 in two years time and the plan has always been to have an Exige for my 30th so i might be ringing you when you advertise it!
