I got my second Lotus a couple of weeks ago, it's a 135R with a supercharged K20 swap.

I'm thinking I might not paint my roof body colour now. Gloss black looks great. Any more pics that show off the roof?

I'm really pleased with how it looks. The plastic grills were body colour (standard on the 135R) which looked horrendous to me, and the carbon side pods were clouded up. The plan was to paint those gloss black, so I thought the black roof and roll hoop cover would go well. It's the cover behind the roof that really pulls it all together

On a standard car I think satin/matte black to match the windscreen surround would look better than gloss, like it is on the current Elise Cup models.

I've not got any shots that really show it off yet, this one gives a slightly clearer view though.

Lovely. The aero kit on the Cups looks so purposeful.

Thanks... I've just bought one of Jon's roofs. I've got it sat in my living room in a big box. I may go body colour initially (as I'm having other parts of the car painted) but may wrap it gloss black later. Decisions!

The OZ wheels always look fantastic, especially when they contrast like that. Shame they're so hideously expensive frown

Here's mine. Used it as my daily when I lived in Jerez. Long gone now, but looking for another one!

Yes, very much. That being said I went to the cinema last night and took the Elise and it got in and out of the multi storey with minimal scraping.
